Cayetano Legacy x Soul Cycle Ride For The Philippines Event Recap & How To Donate to Typhoon Haiyan Efforts May 01 2015
On April 26 at Soul Cycle Newport Beach, an amazing group of people came together and raised thousands of dollars in just one day for Tacloban, Philippines for Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda rebuilding efforts. Over a year after the disaster, 50% of residents are still homeless and in need of resources.
Our brand partner, Cayetano Legacy, planned this Ride For The Philippines event with the help of partners Soul Cycle, Under Armour, Crooks & Castles, Mio Skincare, Zio Coconut Water, Kind Snacks, Spa Ritualistic, Yum Butter, Slaters 50/50, My Vice Sweats, Krave Jerky, Seventh Generation, Sweaty Bands, Sudara Goods, Zero UV, Kahoy Kollection, and I am Wellness. Serene Sky Boutique was also a prize sponsor and donated a mint poncho from OhSoCaliClothing and Safari necklace from Gena Myint.
If you would like to donate to Typhoon Haiyan efforts, Gawad Kalinga,” translated in English means to “give care”, is a Philippine-based movement that aims to end poverty by first restoring the dignity of the poor. You can donate to their US counterpart for a tax deductible donation here. Together we can make a difference!
